The friendly staff and regulars treated me like a mildly amusing stray, which I appreciated. 7 Rooftop Bar earns its keep on views alone, though service holds its own. I arrived during happy hour and the feta appetizer justified the trip, salty and briny and exactly right. Mixed drinks were competent, food average, which is a fair trade when the skyline does the heavy lifting. One warning: the auto-gratuity appears on the bill with the subtlety of a brick through a window. Check before you tip twice. I did not, and my wallet still resents me.
